Blessed are the Peacemakers:
for they shall be called the children of God.

In a nation and world of increasing anger, hatred and war, the Christian community needs to raise the global consciousness of Jesus Christ and His Gospel of Peace.

Surely no concept is more repulsive to a God of Peace, though satisfying to the prince of darkness and ungodly men, than that of "holy war" or "righteous war", and the death, by violent man, of cherished, purposeful, created living souls.

How preposterous is the notion that "God is on our side", as both sides, with similar belief, act in the most ungodly manner. So what separates, or sanctifies, the true Christian from the atheistic man of death and destruction?

Could the commandment of God be any more clear; Thou shalt not kill. (Exodus 20:13 KJV). Who bestowed on man the right to take another man's life? Surely, the agents of darkness bring no glory to God on High, with this action. For it is written, Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. (1 Corinthians 10:31 KJV)

Death is final. No act of loving kindness brings death to another, but when anger and violence is released and death results, any future attempt to spread God's Word to that "perceived" enemy is now lost. There is always another option to conflict:

Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but [rather] give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance [is] mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. (Romans 12:17 KJV)

We believe it is most important that every Christian believer take a stand for Truth and be a witness in their community. We encourage Christians, a peculiar people, zealous doers of good works (Titus 2:14 KJV), peacemakers, to claim the blessings of scripture as faithful children of God. We serve a loving God, not the angry god that the world serves, but the God of Peace. (Romans 15:33 KJV)
